Meet the Team
Professional trainer & facilitator
Rather than offering a quick-fix solution, Greg weaves together scientific research, experiential education practices, and his own history working in schools to shape an experience for people to become self-aware of their own core needs and build meaningful relationships.
Years ago, Greg discovered an insight that has become his driving force… “Connection is the key … and the keys to connection are compassion and understanding.” Knowing everyone needs connection, he decided to make this world a more compassionate and understanding place by meeting people where they are and building them up from the inside out, one person, team, or community at a time.
In 2009, Greg started The Core Project, through which he serves schools to create safe and protective environments by providing insightful staff training, student leadership development, and student assemblies. Greg is a graduate of Lewis-Clark State College with a degree in social work and lives in Rathdrum, ID.
Kelsey Wood is a veteran in youth development and outreach programs for schools. Kelsey serves on The Core Project team as the marketing specialist and in program development. After working ten years in youth prevention, Kelsey has discovered a passion for bringing ideas to life and making a difference through supporting public education. Kelsey is a graduate of the University of Idaho, is married to a teacher, and is the mother of two active boys.
